I was so excited to meet this little guy. I took his family pictures a year ago, and his big sister was a little bit older than he was in these pictures. He and his momma traveled clear from Vegas to get his pictures done. He is such a happy baby and so stinkin cute! Can't wait to do his family pictures again next month in Vegas! 

 he's got that "what you talkin' bout" look down. I love the eyebrow!

Hey Girl l i heart faces May Challenge

I don't enter a lot of these challenges, but as I was editing a family session I came across this picture. I immediately fell in love and thought it was perfect for this challenge.

It just makes my heart happy. And maybe wanna giggle a little too!

My husband was getting his lesson ready this morning for Young Men's tomorrow. He said he wanted me to design a quick printout that he could put in a frame to give the Young Men to always remind them about their lesson. It goes along with the scripture in Mosiah 2:17 "And I tell you these things that ye may learn wisdom; that ye may learn that when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God."
The lesson also expounds upon not procrastinating and just "doing it." Spencer W. Kimball always had a frame on his desk as President of the Church that said "Do it!" I love that. I made him a small 4x6 print out and thought it would be fun to share with the rest of you to display in your homes to remind you to "do it." Whatever that may be. I am queen of procrastination, so this will help me a ton! You know, make that extra dinner and take it to the lady down the street who just had a baby. Or watch someone elses kids while they are sick and can't take care of them. Send a little thoughtful note. You know...actually SERVE. No more thinking, "I'll get around to it." Or "I'm sure someone else has already done that and I don't want to look redundant." I'm just going to "Do it!"

Miles Blue Eyes

This little boy was unbelievably loveable. Right from the tip of his head, gorgeous blue eyes and chubby cheeks clear to the bottom of his chunky legs, and adorable piggies. Holy moly I could have loved on him all day. His facial expressions were priceless. He did so great for his 6 month shoot! I love these shoots because they start to interact with the camera, and still can't crawl so they can't get away. ha. Seriously, tell me you don't love him...guarantee it's not possible. :)

Favorite Photo: Giveaway with Blush Photography

Blush Photography one of the most creative photographers I have found is giving away a free seat at her "with Rapture" Mentoring session. I really really WANT that seat! Her photos are so inspiring and really seem to tell a story. I want to learn how to do more of that and make my photos more meaningful. I would love to win this giveaway!
She asked that we dig through our pictures and find a favorite photo of all time. I have so many. But one that has been my favorite recently is this picture. Sisters are one of God's greatest gifts I feel. I have a sister and she is my best friend. The one I tell my secrets to, laugh with, cry with, and aspire with. I am so blessed to have a sister and this photo expresses how I feel about her.
