And MY arms are stretched out still....

I was asked to take this picture for my SIL for her sterling scholar portfolio. When I was editing it, I had a thought and I just started crying. This picture reminds me of a scripture. I can't remember where because there are so many of them that mention a particular phrase. But the phrase that came to mind is, "My arms are stretched out still." The scripture talks about God having his arms ready to encircle us and all we have to do is reach out to him and his arms will reach us. Or something close to that. I am so grateful to have a Father in Heaven who is concious of me and my problems and that comforts me more than anything to know that He is always there for me. I thought this picture illustrated this particular thing quite well. Even though it is a woman's hands, it still evokes those feelings for me.
Leave me a shout out and let me know your thoughts on the picture.

That's really sweet. Hey, that website I went to was just 123print. They have some of the cutest stuff. If you don't do a back, and do the least expensive paper, it's only like 15 dollars (with the shipping) for 200. Mine were like 30 with the custom back. They have some cute stuff!

Great picture Janice. It always is great when you can feel something more then just a picture.

Jan, Beautiful.
life is incredible.
Good job at applying that to this and envoking feelings and thoughts. That is what art is about. Especially when you can do it in a positive way.
I love that scripture too. I have received much comfort when I have read that scripture and it seems like I find it when I need it the most.

Those teeny tiny nails with the polish how sweet. What a special moment.

Hey! I got your question, and I seriously don't know how to do that. I guess my advice would be to start putting a copyright/watermark on your pictures. I need to get more serious about all of it.. I've just been wingin' it. Let me know how it works out for you!
